We’re so thankful to be connected together with you as One Body in Christ and connected together in the work of the ministry. We spent time on Thanksgiving Day in gratitude and prayer for each of you who have prayed for and supported our family, music, church, and ministry throughout the years. In an effort to keep you up-to-date with our current happenings, we’ve put together a report of the last year’s developments.

As of September 2023, the ministry team of Highway Church has grown to fifteen people in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We have assembled from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Texas, and Arizona. We count it as very significant for the Lord to direct fifteen people, some selling their homes and starting new jobs, to move to a new area of the country to serve Christ and His mandate to preach the Good News and grow His kingdom in the earth. We regularly meet together to for the production of our live broadcasts and online ministry, for prayer, for meals and fellowship, and for planning meetings during this building and establishing season. We’ve even enjoyed a few weekend coffee and sight-seeing trips together just for fun.

In-Person:

While continuing to grow our online ministry, we believe it is time to begin having regular, in-person, worship services in the Tulsa area. To prepare the way for our in-person services, we have begun hosting a monthly Pop Up. We rent local venues, present original music, foster relationship, and share a brief Gospel message with those who attend. Each Pop Up offers snacks and refreshments, live praise and worship, an encouraging message, and a give-away contest.

Our first gathering was in August at a local coffee shop, where sixty-two people were in attendance and gave a great response. People are being encouraged in God’s love for them and exhorted to grow in a relationship with Christ. With each Pop Up the Lord provides through you the cost of venue rental, transporting audio equipment, musical instruments, supplies, providing snacks, refreshments and give- aways. We have had several confirm that what we are bringing is very fresh and greatly needed.

With your help we also would like to establish a semi-permanent location and have as our goal to begin weekly meetings by the end of January, or as soon as possible, in the new year. We have begun looking for a place, locally, where we can hold a weekly gathering. Initially, we would be happy to hold our services in Tulsa or any of its surrounding communities. Ultimately, we would like to be in the midtown to uptown (or even downtown) areas of Tulsa, so we’ve contacted our friends and ministry colleagues in the Tulsa area, who may know of someone, or someplace, that could be an option for our new-year goal.

Online:

Our online impact continues to grow as viewing has increased 37%. Through our website we’ve had 6,860 visitors and have had 19,070 views. In addition to the United States, we have reached the Russian Federation, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Singapore, France, China, Sweden, and Finland.

Our live church online platform has hosted 902 people and 37,400 minutes of viewing time. In addition to the United States, we have reached Canada, China, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Portugal, and Sweden.

In order for the Body of Christ to be effective, two things must be present. Firstly, men and women who have responded to the call of the five-fold ministry as apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers. Secondly, believers who come alongside them to work together with Christ to bring about His plan in the earth.

This is the relationship that Jennifer and I share with you. Our relationship is built upon the fullness of the Gospel of Grace. We are working together with you to bring people into the knowledge of Who Christ Is, What He’s Done For Us, and Who We Are In Him.

As we continue to work together, we exhort you to continue to draw from the ministry of Highway Church, continue to pray with us, believing God with us for all things. Prayerfully consider sowing a generous financial seed to help us expand the ministry, reach more people, and help them experience the love and power of Christ in their daily lives.

You can sow a one-time gift OR you can become a financial partner with HWY Church by scheduling a Recurring Gift. For becoming a partner this month you can receive a free copy of Jennifer’s first book project entitled, “I Cried, and He Heard Me”. It is an anthology shared with several dynamic co- authors. Just check “Please send free book” on giving form.
